The Bible is full of God's promises and one of these great promises is found in the Book of Proverbs, written by Solomon. In Proverbs chapter 3, verse 5 and 6 he writes, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
From this passage, Solomon explains that there is a cause and effect relationship between the promises of God and their fulfillment. In other words, God gives us conditions for us to follow so that we would receive the benefit of His promises. How God fulfills His promises is up to Him, but our failure to trust Him often deprives us of the spiritual and physical blessings we need.
Join us this week as we explore ways to trust and rely upon God's promises and His goodness.
