The good news of what God has done for us is too good to be kept to ourselves. Everybody has a testimony, a personal story that defines, shapes, moves or propels them. As believers our stories are different but they typically revolve our own salvation experience, some physical or spiritual healing, some emotional breakthrough or some personal encounter with God. These stories may vary from extraordinary to ordinary or just simple everyday blessings. However, each of these stories is very important.
1 Peter 3:15 tells us to always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have, but do this with gentleness and respect. This week as we continue our series on the seven habits of highly effective Christians, we will explore the idea of sharing our own personal story of how God has worked in our lives, where we were, or how the power of God reached us and continues to work in our lives. Faith-sharing is a holy habit that grows our faith and changes the lives of those who hear them.
