Here at MTPUMC, we are building a faith foundation in our children and also in our families.
Our classes meet during the 9:30 a.m. worship service. The first Sunday of each month, the children stay with their parents in worship to join the rest of the congregation in the taking of communion. The other 3-4 Sundays, they are dismissed to class after the first few songs have been sung. The children meet with a group of dedicated parents who bring fun and games to the lessons. Children in kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to join us.
Meets: 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays 6:00 - 7:30 unless Basketball ministry is in session so contact the Church Office to make sure we are meeting.
Location: Youth Room (downstairs)
A youth program that utilizes contemporary media to reach youth in and outside the church. A recent grant has enabled the program to have computers and link youth with one another and with missionaries around the world. Our Youth Group Ministry currently involves grades 5 - 12.
We would love to have you join us for a meeting or activity. During the summer we have a special schedule, so if you are interested in joining us, contact our Church Office.
We have a small group study in the fall and during Lent. Please join us!
2018 Lenten Study: Revelation - Revealing Its Original Meaning by J Curtis Goforth
Have you ever been confused by the books in the Bible? If you have, I’m sure the most confusing of any of them has been the book of Revelation! This book has been misused and misinterpreted more than any other book in the Bible. Though it has been used as a “blueprint” of sorts for what will happen at the end of time, the original meaning of the book couldn’t be further from this idea that Revelation is about the future. Instead, Revelation is actually about the past. Intrigued? Come and find out more about this book, its original meaning, and what it can mean for us as followers of Jesus today.
We meet on Thursdays at the church from 7:00-8:30 pm beginning on Thursday, February 8th and running through March 22nd

Music Director: Lynda Chryst
Welcome to the Chancel Choir! As part of the music ministry at MTPUMC, we rehearse once a week in preparation for the 11 a.m. Sunday service. We sing a variety of music such as the traditional hymns, gospel, classical, Celtic, and many more. Through a variety of music, we seek to glorify God in song while building up the church through our testimony.
While the Chancel Choir sings during the 11 a.m. service, there are other performance opportunities as well. We sometimes sing during the contemporary service and also during holy days of the liturgical year. In addition, the Chancel Choir presents Easter and Christmas cantatas, which are a definite highlight!
There is an urgent need for new members as we seek to grow as the Chancel Choir. We supply the robes, music, and folders at no cost to you. There are no auditions whatsoever and we welcome anyone regardless of musical background. No previous musical training is necessary - only a joy for music and a desire to worship! If you are interested, just stop in on Thursday nights and we'll take it from there. You are most welcome and needed. Your chair is waiting...
