2017 Run for the Red Marathon - Sunday, May 21st

The American Red Cross will be holding its 12th Annual Run for the Red Marathon on Sunday, May 21 in the Monroe County.

The event will raise funds for American Red Cross Disaster Relief in the Pocono Mountains.

The marathon and half marathon will start at 7 a.m. at Pocono Mountain West High School in Pocono Summit. The 5k road race steps off at 8 a.m. at Stroudsburg High School.

All three races finish in the Stroudsburg High School stadium. The Pocono Marathon serves as a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon in 2017.

As the event draws near, more information may become available about affected routes on that day, so that you can efficiently plan your travel to and from church and around the neighborhood.
