Painting, gluing, ripping, scissor work, and all kinds of arts and crafts help young children develope fine motor skills that lead to strong hand writing. Children in elementary school spend a majority of their day writing between doing worksheets, tests, taking notes, and completing home work. At KDO we prepare our students for success in school!
At Kids Day Out we practice handwriting our names. All the fun activities we do with arts and crafts, building with small blocks and toys, lacing, cutting, and glueing help the children develope fine motor skills so that they can hold a pencil and write.
Remember when your favorite toy was a card board box? At KDO children learn to play and work together. They learn how to speak with their friends and teachers, how to share, take turns, and cooperate. Our children grow strong bonds of friendship that last through school and into young adulthood.
