Box Talks

Remember when your favorite toy was a card board box? At KDO children learn to play and work together.  They learn how to speak with their friends and teachers, how to share, take turns, and cooperate.  Our children grow strong bonds of friendship that last through school and into young adulthood.

Zacceus is Forgiven

We learned how Zacceus cheated people, but when Jesus forgave him, he paid back all the money.  The children learned that sometimes we can do more than just say we’re sorry to make it right.  And God will always forgive us.

Kendallyn makes her snack into a tree for Zacceus to climb so he can see Jesus over the crowd.

Research shows that children learn more from hands on activities like this one than from using a device like a cell phone or tablet.
